박제균 교수, 한국바이오칩학회 제11대 회장 취임
Professor Je-Kyun Park Inaugurated as 11th President of the Korean BioChip Society
우리 대학 바이오및뇌공학과 박제균 교수가 한국바이오칩학회 (The Korean BioChip Society) 제11대 회장으로 취임하여 2016년 1월 1일부터 1년간의 임기로 학회를 이끌게 된다. 사단법인 한국바이오칩학회는 2006년 창립된 이래로 21세기 첨단 융합생명공학 분야인 바이오센서, 바이오멤스, 나노융합, 헬스케어시스템 연구의 핵심 원천 기술로서 새로운 패러다임을 창출하고 있는 바이오칩 기술의 발전에 기여하기 위해 설립된 학술단체이다.
박 교수는 한국바이오칩학회 창립멤버로서 지난 10년간 학술교육위원회 위원장, 바이오멤스 및 랩온어칩 분과위원장, 사무총장, 부회장직 등을 맡은 바 있다.
또한, 박 교수는 관련 분야 최고의 국제학술지인 바이오센서와 바이오전자, 랩온어칩 등 국제저널 편집위원 활동과 마이크로타스2015 국제학술대회장, 마이크로나노시스템학회 부회장 등을 역임한 바 있다.
Professor Je-Kyun Park of the Department of Bio and Brain Engineering at KAIST was inaugurated as the 11th President of the Korean BioChip Society (KBCS). The KBCS is an academic organization established in 2006, aiming at the development of biochip technology that is creating new paradigm as a key technology in studying for the biosensor, bioMEMS, nano-convergence, and healthcare system that are new integrative bioengineering area in the 21st century.
Since 2006, Professor Park has served as the Chairs of Scientific Program Committee and BioMEMS/Lab-on-a-chip Sub-Committee, the Secretary General, and a Vice Chair of the KBCS.
He has also been an Editorial Board Member of several international journals, including Lab on a Chip and Biosensors & Bioelectronics, and a Vice Chair of the Society of Micro and Nano Systems (SMNS). Recently, he was successfully organized the μTAS 2015 Conference in Gyeongju as the Conference Chair.
