1. 자격시험 대상자

바이오및뇌공학과/뇌인지공학프로그램 박사과정 자격시험 응시자격 요건에 해당하는 학생은

응시가 가능합니다.

① 박사과정 입학 후 3학점 이상 이수(직전학기 학사경고자는 자동 탈락)

② 2학기 재학 중인 학생은 반드시 자격시험에 응시하여야 함

(2학기 재학중 미응시 경우 사유서 제출)

3. 제출서류

① 응시원서 1부 (소정양식)

② 자격시험 기초자료 (학적, 성적, 교과목이수, 연구실적 목록)

③ 학위논문추진계획서 (영문, 15페이지 내외)

※ 근거서류 (논문, 특허등록증, 학회자료 사본 등을 빠짐없이 첨부 요망)

※ 저자, 저널, 학회명, 게재날짜, 발표날짜 등 명확히 확인될 수 있어야 함

④ 성적표 1부

 

4. 평가배점

※ 박사자격시험은 매년 2월, 8월에 시행할 예정이며, 박사과정 재학생은 입학 후(통합과정 학생은 박사과정 인정

시점부터) 1년 6개월 이내에 한하여 응시할 수 있다.(09학번 이상 해당, 08학번 이하는 3년). 휴학기간은 2년에

한하여 이를 산입하지 아니한다.(장기휴학(병역 등)인 경우 불이익이 발생되지 않도록 사전조치 하시기

바랍니다.)

※ 응시허용 기한 내에 자격시험에 합격하지 못한 자는 제적한다.

※ 전과한 경우 이전 학과의 자격시험 합격 유무와 관계없이 전과일이 속한 학기로부터 1년 6개월 이내에

전과한 학과의 자격시험에 응시하여야 한다.

Instructions Concerning PhD Qualifying Examination

(Aug. 2026)

 

1. Applicability : Students who meet the eligibility requirements for the PhD Qualifying

Examination in the Department of Bio and Brain Engineering / Brain and Cognitive

Engineering Program are eligible to take the exam.

① Students must complete at lest 3 credits after admission to the PhD

profgram(students who received an academic warning in the previous semester will be

automatically disqualified)

② Students enrolled in their 2nd semester must take the qualifying exam

(If a student in the 2nd semester does not take the exam, a written explanation must

be submitted)

※ Please attach all relevant documents including research papers published, certificte

of patent and papers presented at academic conferences)

※ Name of author, journal name and publication/presentation date should be clearly

indicated

④ Transcript for PhD program

※ PhD qualifying exam will be conducted in February and August every year; all PhD

students must pass the exam within one and a half years of admission to PhD

program (For integrated MS/PhD program students, the period will be calculated from

the point of recognition as doctoral students.) (The aforementioned requirement

applies to the PhD student who entered in 2009 and onward only; the students who

entered in 2008 or before are required to pass the exam within three of years of

admission to PhD program.) leave of absence for a period up to two years is not

included. (Students who are taking a leave of absence for an extended period of time

(military service, etc.) are advised to take proper precautions to avoid disadvantages.)

※ Students who fail to pass the exam within the prescribed time limit will be expelled.

※ The student who has changed department is required to pass the qualifying exam of

the new department within one and a half years from the semester to which the

approval date for changing department belongs, without regard to the qualifying

exam status at the old department.
