2007 Fall, BiS 800 Special Lecture on Bioinformatics &Bioelectronics "Neuroimaging of the Brain"

Synopsis : This lecture will deal following topics;
I. Fundamentals of Physics & Chemistry : which includes ; chemistry and molecular biology for neuroscience,
II. Neuroanatomy and Its functions : which include ; neurons, anatomy of brain, neural systems, neurotransmitters & receptors,
III. Neuroimaging-PET : which includes ; Mathematics and physics of PET, image reconstruction in 2- and 3-dimensions, basic physics of positron emission tomograph.
IV. Neuroimaging -MRI ; which includes ; MR physics and mathematics,
magnetic resonance imaging principles, Fourier Transform theory,
and imaging pulse sequences
VI . Neuroimaging Application 1 : which inludes ; Application of neuroimaging
in Cognitive Neuroscience
VII. Neuroimaging Application 2 : which includes ; Application of neuroimagning for "Brain-computer interface"
VIII. Neuroimaging Application 3 : which includes ; Diagnostics & therapeutic Aspects of Brain Diseases
( Neurodegenerative disorders & Psychiatric disorders)
IX. Neuroimaging Application 4 : which includes ; Visit and Experiment of
