Stu  Students who meet one of the following requirements (either (A) or (B)) :

 

 

(A). Doctor (A) Doctoral students who don't pass the qualifying exam, have studied at least 2 semesters as doctoral students and taken more 3 subjects since doctoral program admission.

 

 

(B). Doctor (B) Dpctoral students who have completed graduation course requirement (common compulsory courses, major compulsory and elective courses) and have studied at least 2 semesters as doctoral students.

※ The qualifying exam will be administered twice a year. All doctoral students are required to pass the exam within 3 semesters from their admission date of the doctoral course.

 

 

A maximum of 2 years of leave of absence are not included in the number of semesters specified above. (This rule is applied to the student starting in 2009' new students. Students who admitted before 2009 must pass the exam within 6 semesters)

 

 

※ Students who do not pass this exam within the designated period will be expelled from a school.

 

 

※ Students who changed their major are required to pass the exam within 1.5 years from the semester when they have changed the major regardless of the exam result from the original department.

 

 

※ Research advisors cannot evaluate their students applied to the qualifying exam.
