올해 3월 1일부로 우리 학과가 공과대학으로 소속이 변경됨에 따라 공과대학

 

 

박사학위 수여심의 기준과 바이오및뇌공학과 박사학위 수여심의 졸업요건을

 

 

아래와 같이 안내하여 드리오니 필독하시기 바랍니다. 두 요건을 모두 만족해야 함.

 

 

From March 1st in this year, the affiliation of the department of Bio and BrainEngineering

 

 

has been changed to College of Engineering. Please note that PhD candidates should meet both requirements

 

 

from College of Engineering and our department.

 

 

공과대학 박사학위 수여심의 졸업요건

 

 

Deliberation of conferment and graduation requirements of doctorate in College of Engineering

 

 

- 박사학위 논문은 제1저자여야 함.

 

 

   다만, 지도교수가 제1저자인 경우에는 제2저자도 가능함.

 

 

- 국비학생의 경우 논문상 소속기관은 KAIST이어야 하며, 지도교수가

 

 

   교신저자이어야 함. 일반학생의 경우 KAIST가 논문상 소속기관 목록에 포함되어 있어야 함.

 

 

- 박사학위 수여심사와 관련하여 대학 학사심의회에서는 주로 제1저자 (공동저자 포함)

 

 

   여부에 대한 심의를 함. 지도교수 교신저자 여부는 학과 학사 심의회에서 심의하도록 함.

 

 

 - The candidate should be the first author of the journal paper. In case his/her PhD advisor

 

 

   is the first author, the candidate can be the second author.

 

 

- In case of National scholarship students ('Gook-Bee'), 'KAIST' should be

 

 

  the main affiliated organization in the paper, and PhD advisor should be the corresponding author.

 

 

 in case of General scholarship students ('il-Bahn'),  'KAIST' should be listed among the affiliated organizations in the paper.

 

 

- The college committee will mainly evaluate the first authorship or co-authorship, and the department committee will evaluate the corresponding authorship of the PhD advisor.

 

 

바이오및뇌공학과 박사학위수여심의 졸업요건

 

 

Deliberation of conferment and graduation requirements of doctorate in department of Bio and Brain Engineering

 

 

 

 

- 바이오및뇌공학과에서는 학생의 입학년도에 관계없이 우수 국제 학술지

 

 

  SCI/SCIE급 저널에 주저자 (제1저자 혹은 교신저자)로 참여하는 경우박사학위를 수여하는 조건을 원칙으로 한다.

 

 

- 기존의‘교수별 추천’(추천졸업)은 유지하지 않음.

 

 

- 적용시기: 2015년 2월 졸업생부터 적용. (단, 2014년 가을 졸업생은 새로운

 

 

   규정과 이전 규정 중 하나를 해당 지도교수가 선택할 수 있도록 함.)

 

 

- The department of Bio and Brain Engineering grants a doctorate in case the candidate participated as a leading author (first author or

 

 

   corresponding author) in a research paper published in internationally renowned SCI/SCIE indexed academic journals.

 

 

- The department will not maintain recommendation graduation process.

 

 

- Time of application: Applied from February 2015 graduates
