Title: Current activities of the neutron imaging group at the HANARO, KAERI.
Abstract:
The neutron imaging group at the HANARO of the KAERI is currently devoted to the development of the neutron imaging techniques for many industrial applications such as fuel cells, aircraft components, ginseng root morphologies, car components and so on. The conventional radiography has been being used for the industrial non-destructive testing and the new imaging techniques such as phase contrast imaging, tomographic imaging and dynamic imaging are being developed and applied for the sophisticated applications. There are good signs of potential use for the biomedical applications using thermal, cold, and fast neutrons and the NIG at the HANARO is also moving toward this direction
